create a new fiscal year variant

Hi,

For a BPS solution we need to have more when 16 periods. The fiscal year variant K4 allows only 16 periods. I tried to create a new one via implementation guide activ-ity " BW_FISCALYEAR". It is possible to activate the cube with the new variant. But when I run the bps function and I save to result I get a system dump with RAISE_EXCEPTION "ILLEGAL_INPUT" in the function RSDRI_CUBE_WRITE_PACKAGE. What did I wrong?

Not sure why you need more that 16 periods ?

I would suggest talk to an FICO consultant with regards to, if there are any limitations on Fiscal year variant with more that 16 periods. As such, haven't come across a scenario where you need more than 4 special posting periods. If you could explain the scenario why you need more than 16 periods maybe the solution could be more focussed.
