SNP Heuristics & Purchaset Contracts

Folks

I am in SCM 2007 / 5.1, SNP heuristic is used for planning certain components.

SNP heuristics does not consider Purchasing Contract as a source of supply.

Is there a way to create Pur Req with reference to Purchasing contract from SCM?

OR

Is there a mass reassignement program on ECC to change the source of supply from Inforecord to Contract for Pur Req?

Hi! Rex,

by standard hueristic planning PR cannot be created as per the cotract.

we also had the same requirment but we did it as follows.

we created the Purchase Req. as per hueristic logic which flow to ECC.

then through a custom program we stamp the contact detail in the purchase req.

& when we do Purchase Req- Purchase Order conversion through ME59N the system convets only the Contract permitted quantity

Can you provide the details of BADI or Exit / function module name that you have used to achieve this in ECC?

Hi! Rex,

we did not use any BADI/Userexit but we simply used a custom program which collected all the contract detail from the system and then using BAPI BAPI_REQUISITION_CHANGE we populated the contract number in the aggrement field iin the purchase Req.
