Hi All,
We are using SAP MI 7.0 SP18 Server and Client
xMAM 3.0 SR06
Now when we create a Notification using the link Notification Management of type PV and SAVE.
When Synchronized, it is completed but backend no notification is trigerring and when checked in Error Logs
the following message is shown Error during date calculation: Time entered not numerical
Kindly Suggest
Regards,

Hi Kiran,
Can you open that particular record from middleware (monitor) and put the date in numeric format manually and try reprocess the work list. If this works, then from mobile device you may sending improper date.
Thanks

Hi Kiran,
If I understood your issue correctly, when you sync the device with SAP MI middle ware you are getting the error date entered is not numeric.
Where did you see this error message? In mobile device log? or in MI middle ware at (MEREP_MONI tcode).
If you can see the record (entry) which has got the error in moni log, edit that data from moni itself and re-enter the date in correct format & then reprocess the work list. If this wokr list successfully goes to the back end, then there must an error in your front end date format that you storing.
Thanks
Chinna
Hi Chinna,
The error message is seen both in Mobile device log and aslo moddleware log.

I really couldnot understand the procedure , how can we edit a log entry, please explain.

Hi All,
I got to know how to edit the entries from merep_mon : Thanks to Chinna.
But unfortunately that did not solve my problem
I had to debug the function module of the respective SyncBO and found that the Profile type was not maintained in the backend.
Infact the error "Error during date calculation: Time entered not numerical" was misleading.
Anyways upon customising the Profile for the PJ and PV type Notifications that solved my issue.

Kiran Joshua
