Acessing SAP transaction iview for WIN GUI from internet

Hi All,

We have a portal server (WAS 6.4). User can access this server from internet. This <b>portal server can access SAP production server</b>. Internet user <b>cannot directly access SAP production server</b>. If we use SAP transaction iview for <b>WIN GUI</b> then it is <b>not working</b>. I guess saplogon.exe in client PC trying to access SAP production server directly. Is there any wayout so that portal server will access transaction on behalf of client PC like <b>server side</b> fetch mode in URL iview?

Thanks

Raktim

Hi Raktim

I've you find some limitations with the HTML version of the gui , you can always look at citrix , we used citrix on one of my previous projects and it worked well

hi,

if you create the transaction iview for WINGUI then you should have saplogon.exe must in the system that is browsing this transaction.

rather you can create the transaction iview for WEBGUI(select SAP GUI TYPE for HTML) then it can be accessed even if the client machine doesn't have Saplogon.exe installed.

check out the link to create transactional iview for WEBGUI.
