HAP_MAIN _DOCUMENT

Hi,

we are working on EHP4- Webdynpro ,we copied the webdynpro component HAP_MAIN_DOCUMENT to a zcomponent ZHAP_MAIN _DOCUMENT for this i need to create a service but the main document itself does not have a application.

Please share the inputs .

First of all, why did you have to copy the component? If you needed to make changes, try first to use either component configuration or the enhancement framework. It seems unlikely that you should need to copy the entire component given the flexibility of these two tools.

Now more directly to your question; HAP_MAIN_DOCUMENT doesn't have a WDA application because it is used within a Floorplan based application. Look at the WDA Application - HAP_MAIN_DOCUMENT. It calls the component FPM_OIF_COMPONENT. The inner component HAP_MAIN_DOCUMENT is assigned to the Floorplan via the component configuration of the floorplan component (component config HAP_OIF_MAIN_DOC). You would also have to alter this configuration or create a new FPM Application and corresponding configuration to link in your copy of the SAP Component. Just one more reason to use the enhancement framework instead of copying the SAP component.
