bw 3.5 installation doubts

Hi All,

Iam new in sap technology.I have some doubts about sap bw3.5 installation.

1)For bw 3.5 sap 4.7 ee r/3 is required?

2)Some of my friends told

first install sap 4.7ee then add bw content is it right or not?

pls suggest how to i install bw 3.5.

pls send doc path

Hi Ramesh,

You can have bw 3.5 in two ways

1) 4.7 And B.W 3.5 are completely different if you to want to install both in a single system then install 4.7 in local system and b.w 3.5 in vm ware this will help you in working with R3 and bw and you can perform data extraction also in this.

2)By installing ecc5 you will get bw 3.5 in default with that here you can work with R3 also .
