Duplicate Document Type

Dear Experts,

I have a requirement, in one of the plants, we have content server and in Doc Type, Check In is Mandatory,

and in other plant they don't want the check in Mandatory, so..

Do i need to create different doc Type, for this or i can still manage in one doc Type if yes How ?

Hi Raghu,

as the mandatory checkin is due to the setting of the document status for this specific document type I think the best way would be to create a new document type for your second plant. You can copy the origin document type in DC10 and just edit the status by unsetting the 'Checkin' flag. So the new document type will have to same status network and settings but the checkin is not mandatory.
