Hi all,

My SAP-OSS connection test in SM59 is working OK, the download SaPnote via SNOTE is also works well, but calling from OSS1 is always failed : partner 'IP address' could not be reached......

Any suggestion ? Thanks.

I asked the same question to support. After having been out of the trenches for a while last system was 4.6 new system was NW7.0) I found out that this has been phased out and should not work.

Hi all, thanks for the reply...

But my configuration seems fine, therefore I still can download SAP Note using SNOTE.

I guess this is related to time out setting, is there anyway I could set the timeout setting for saprouter connection (i.e. I want to set it to 3000 ms before timeout)?

Hi,

Just a thought.

Are the Technical Settings in OSS1 are proper ?

Please check.

Cheers...,

What are calling from OSS1?... If you want to connect tp OSS you need to use SAP Marketplace not OSS1... This transaction is limited to router technical settings for OSS if your SNOTE works then the config is right.

Hi

Please ensure you have correct entries (IP Address, syntax) in your 'saproute.ini' under %winnt% directory (or wherever you have this 'saproute.ini' file located) in your SAP system.

for example for below router entry:

[Router]

sapservX=/H/your-SAProuter-internal-IP-address/H/SAPServX-IP-address/H/

Example:

sapserv4=/H/200.10.10.24/H/204.79.199.2/H/

200.10.10.24 is my SAP routeru2019s IP address.

204.79.199.2 is SAPServ4u2019s IP address.
