How to get the J2EE engine

Hi all,

How to find out the J2EE engine from NWDS?

NWDS is installed in local system. XI(WAS) system is installed in other location.

http://<Hostname>:<portName>; is working fine.

In NWDS->Windows->Preferences, I tried to choose the option "J2EE enginee installed in remote host" and tried to give both host and port (3601). But it doesnt show the J2EE engine.

SAP Management Console doesnt show any SAP System. If I need to add the SAP System, what we need to do? Is it must to add the SAP System in Management Console. If yes, please provide me a link to show in detail to do this.

Regards,

hi Prasad,

first refresh the j2ee engine view.

otherwise, Check your message server port. you may check that information from SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR from your http://server:port/. it will ask for Admin user and password.

give the same port in your visual admin.
