Maintaining 1 Pooled Capacity in Two different locations.

HI ALL,

Can we maintain 1 Pooled Capacity in two different locations? In our system 1 resource will be considere in two different

locations and we want to consider capacity of this resource in SNP Optimizer. Do you have an idea about the issue?

Hi Burak,

I hope you are creating the pooled capacity from R/3 and transferring

it to APO

You can maintain 1 pooled capacity in two different locations.

You can use copy option to maintain this

Hi Burak,

You can maintain a reference resource and maintain capacities in the standared are active variant and assign it to the resources whereever you want to have these capacities.

Do not maintain active variant in the main resources and assign the reference resource in those main resources.

It depends...

You can create a resource in APO w/o a location.

Or you can use a resource in loc A in a PPM used in Loc B.

But the issue is how you can integrate this master data from ECC. I don't know any way to do this.

Maybe using a pooled resource?
