certification processing

Hi experts,

My client wants to use the characteristics (with multi-specifications) from inspection 04 in certificate processing. They have the inspection type 10 (at delivery). When I am creating quality certificate for delivery getting error message u201CThe specifications for characteristic 1 were not found in batch 123 Material A, Plant 1000u201D

1. I have used the characteristics of inspection 04,

2. result data origin : inspection results.

3.insp. spec. origin : inspection specification from QM .

Please let me know the settings,

1) Are you refering to the multiple specification functionality of SAP QM using the objects (customer , country etc ) or is it different inspection plan for different customers for a material .

if it is later try using the Result origin as 03 inspection / batch from production chain and specification from spec from production chain

2) Is the profile consist of MIC from inspection type 10 and 04 combined

PLease clarify

Hi Nagesh,

We are using multiple specification functionality of SAP QM with the MS objects type (customer), and certification profile consists of MIC from inspection type 10 and 04 combination.

I maintained the data origin for both results & specifications as multi-specifications with production chain (13) in certificate profile. But in the certificate, I am not getting customer specifications.

If anything is missing please let me know.

Kindly use the Results from Batch option in the Certificate Profile and not from QM Results.

Hi Nagesh,

some characteristics (in the inspection type 04) have multiple specification dependent on the customer.

like: 1. standard :10-20

2. customer A spec.10-15

3. customer B spec. 15-20 ect,

so my client wants to use the specification & results in certification processing

Ss the batch where used list updated. if not then kindly MB57 and update the batch where used list and then check the certificate
