Solution manager 7.0 Enterprise edition is is chargeable?

Hi,

I would like to ask.

Is that Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1 different from Solution Manager 7.0 Enterprise Edition?

Customer no need to pay extra cost for Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1?

How about Solution Manager 7.0 Enterprise Edition? Does the customer need to pay extra license fees?

For new implementation of SAP ECC6.0 is it correct to say that always installed the Solution Manager Enterprise manager as this is latest and more features?

Hi

Yes you are correct solution manager enterprise edition is different than EHP1 and Enterprise edition came earlier

but EHP1 is latest and having more functionalities.

now for any implementaion u need EHP1 becoz it is latest and sap recommends to be on latest version.

The following note ONLY applies to SAP customers in Germany and Austria:

"The extent of the usage of the software package u201ESAP Enhancement Package 1 for SAP Solution Manager 7.0u201C depends upon the type of maintenance contract you have signed.

If you have a signed contract for:

• SAP Enterprise Support

• SAP Product Support for Large Enterprises

• SAP Premium Support, or

• SAP MaxAttention,

AS per Note 1169247 - Enhancements to Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1 upgrade

you are authorized to use all functions in the software package without any restrictions. If you have signed only standard support contracts, you are permitted to install this software package, but you are permitted to use only restricted functions. You are not permitted to use the following Enterprise Edition functions:

• Business Process Change Analyzer

• Quality Gate Management

• Custom Development Management Cockpit
