1. Withou Data Transfer
2. early Delta Initialisation
What is early Delta Initialisation option and when do we use this?
Also I have observe that when we select the Initialise delta option the " Early delta initialisation" is always disabled.
Kindly help.

Hey Guys,
Thanks a lot. That was really helpful.
I have rewarded the points as well.

Hi,
The following is an extract from the link that I sent you:
Early Delta Initialization
-
With early delta initialization, you have the option of writing the data into the delta queue or into the delta tables for the application during the initialization request in the source system. This means that you are able to execute the initialization of the delta process (the init request), without having to stop the posting of data in the source system. The option of executing an early delta initialization is only available if the DataSource extractor called in the source system with this data request supports this.
Extractors that support early delta initialization are delivered with Plug-Ins as of Plug-In (-A) 2002.1.
You cannot run an initialization simulation together with an early delta initialization.
Hope this helps...
Thanks,
Raj

Hi,
when you choose "Early Delta Initialization" delta queue will be filled up simultaneaously along when the Init is running.
So, you can shoose this option when you expect document postings that can happen during your Init load.
You may assign points if useful..
Thanks,
Raj

Hi,
See below text.
-
Early Delta Possible
The extractor determines whether data can be written to the delta queue or into the delta tables of the application during an initialization request.
If the extractor called up with this data request in the source system is able to write delta records to the delta queue while an initialization request is running, you can use this indicator to control whether the early delta initialization is actually carried out.
Use
Use this indicator when you want to prevent an update in the source system during the initialization of the delta process.
If you execute the early delta initialization, the source system update can continue and data can be written to the delta queue while the initialization request is being processed.
Dependencies
Extractors supporting early delta initialization are not available before plug-in (-A) 2002.1.
You cannot execute an initialization simulation together with an early delta.
