I know this is old, but I was researching the same thing. I couldn't find an easy way either. There is a FM swe_check_key_compatibility that is called in SWEC to compare the key fields of the Business Object to the key fields of a change document object. If they match then it allows the BO and change document object to be tied together in SWEC.

Table SWOTDV has the key fields of the business object, so if you know the change document type you are trying to match, then you can query this table to see which BO has those key fields.

Hi Rams,

This info is not maintained in a single table.

One way to find:

- Go to the New Entries screen in SWEC.

- Enter your Object Type (e.g. BUS2038)

- Press F4 for Change doc. object field.

This does not seem to work for all objects types for some reason (e.g. BUS1022 - but if you were to enter ANLA for change doc. object and hit F4 for Object Type, it will come up with a ist of objects including BUS1022). In such cases you can find the Change doc object by a process of elimination.

I hope someone may have a better solution than this!

Cheers,

Ramki Maley.
