Non-coded material in ECP

Hi Experts?

Can I include non-coded material as text item in ECP?

I am unable to do this.

Please suggest the correct way.

Hi

in ECP , you add item catagory T and enter only description in the field and confirm

The text item will be include in left side as only text .You cant enter any value for it , system will not take

What is the specific use of varianble item?

Hi

As per my understanding text Iten can not contribute in costing.It is for information perpose like Use this material , size should be specific like that.

In IDES ,In tran CKCM , and controlling area 2000 check the template created by sap MOBILE20 .

They used text item (pole type not allowed) as information purpose only

You take item catagory As V . variable item so you can include cost by manaually in your cost estimate.
