How to create Softlink for Folder usr/sap/..... in Windows 2003?

Hello All,

i have CE 7.1 Server installed on Win 2003 OS and i am trying to Update this CE 7.1 Server to EHP1, But when update is process starts i am running short of disk space in usr/sap...Drive.

As per note 891895 suggested i need to have 6GB space for update but i have only 1GB space after all cut short.

So i am planning to create Softlink of some folder in USR/SAP....to other drives like which is having 30GB space free.

Pls provide step by step process to create Softlink for folder.

Hi,

There is no connecpt of Soft link in windows.

Yes,

As mentioned above there is not any concept of softlink on windows.

the same you can call as create shortcut method on windows.

contact your OS administrator to create shortcut on diffferent location and start your activity.
