Import ESS fail java.lang.outofMemoryError

Hi All,

We face the problem as java.lang.outofmemory when import tracking ESS EHP4. and then we apply note already follow below list:

774339 Internal Server Error in DTR

1001509 How to change a DTR repository property

1001502 OutofMemory error during CMS import on Oracle 10g database

but that error still remain. how to solve this problem? please help me. T T

Hi,

This issue comes due to the free space not available in drive where your Server installed. I have faced the same issue earlier.

So, please check free space in your server drive and if free space available then try again.

Can you check your memory parameter settings as per note 723909?

Hello,

this is very likely an out of memory in your J2ee hosting the NWDI Services. Check your logs for error 666 or OOM.

ESS is a pretty big component.

Please check if your JVM settings are correct. The parameter oyu should mainly check is maxheapsize.

On linux note: 861215 descripes the current settings.
