SRM-MDM Image field look-up check

Hi Expert,

We are using SRM-MDM Catalog in SRM. I have one MDM technical problem, need your help.

In SRM-MDM Catalog, IMAGE is one field in Catalog Item main table, and IMAGE is also a look-up field(it is standard function). In our solution, all the MDM data is from SRM contract, including the IMAGE field value. But when the users input one wrong value in the IMAGE field in SRM contract, this whole contract data will not be able to import into MDM, because IMAGE field value is not mapped with IMAGE look-up values.

So can we ignore this IMAGE field look-up value check? but do not impact the data importing into MDM, we still need to show the IMAGE in our catalog. Please advise.

Hi GY,

you should create a check on the SRM side, in the Contract transfer BADI and stop the transmission, if the image is not field correctly. On the MDM side cannot do to much.
