Hi!

I am using WebAS 6.40 using. The ABAP stack is working fine. But

when I am unable to connect to the Java stack.when I give the url

http://<ser-name>:port-no/me

it is displaying as no page found error..

When I tried to login into the j2ee visualadmin it gives the following

error.

unable to lookup connection default.

msgserver/text/logon returned empty list of connection parameters.

What could be the possible reason for the error. Please do help me in

this.

Thanks & regards

Hi Verrabhadram

I think u install Java server as a java add in install.

since java server is not running u can't able to login into visual administrator

http://j2eehost:j2ee_port

if J2EE server is running u get the J2EE engine Start page.

it's not display , start the J2EE form ABAP client

SMICM -> Administration ->J2EE server ->

u can perform any method to rsstart the J2EE server.

after this wait for 5 min. also check ur windows task manager.

u see the 3 jlaunch.exe under process with user sapserviceSID

Open SAP MMC and see whether it's actually running or not. Visual Admin and Portal Access will work if J2EE Engine is up. Check the status first.

Hi

If all the services are running, you can check it from

the URL

1)http://<hostname>:<port>/

2)http://<hostname>:<port>/irj/portal/

Hi,

Check the log of from the following path

1) is the java instance in SAPMMC is green?

2) if it is not green check in the dev_server0 which will be in \usr\sap\...\D...\work

Check the Port No. Seems Port no. is wrong.

remove the "me"
