Hi Experts,
Was wondering how to form the syntax of a validation that needs to reference a Tuple field. In the expression editor, you must specify what table / lookup table / Tuple field you are creating the validation in, and it seems that I cannot cross validate.
Am trying to construct a validation that checks if the return vendor field is populated, than the customer field must be populated, where Return Vendor is in the Purch. Org data Tuple, and the Customer Field is in the Vendor main table.
I know what the syntax should essentially look like, but when using the expression engine under the Tuple Fields, I cannot add a field from the main table from the expression engine and vice versa (cannot choose a Tuple Field in the engine if I am creating the validation under the main table).
Any ideas?
Please do not just post answers and refer me to links...I have pretty much looked everywhere, and cannot find the answer I am looking for.
Thanks!!
Nichole
Hi Nichole,
the features you'd need are not yet implemented in the current MDM 7.1 release.
Best regards
Michael
