Error during order creation in Product view

Hi Gurus,

In SCM 5.1, when I try to create a planned order in product view,

I am getting the following errors

No capacity demands for specified mode

Error occurred while creating order

I am using alternate sequences with PDS. I feel I am missing some

field values or populated some extra values in PDS data which I

am not able to figure it out with the error.

Please let me know the correct fix for this issue.

I already tried the options that you have mentioned and not working

Alternate modes are created from alternate sequences

Please check PDS are alteranative sequences are reflected as alternative modes?

Hi Senthil,

Please check the product heuristic settings and strategy profile.

I'm not sure about the error, but you can cross check error log. If you have assigned number range to planned orders and in the error log, you can see that order number does exist in log, then check your strategy profile.

In case order is not created at all, then check your PDS for activities and relationships. Check if capacity requirements is correct under Mode.

Also, please run LC consistency check using OM17.
