MDM 5.5 to MDM 7.1 Import Maps Update

Former Member

Hello, experts!

Our repository migrated from MDM 5.5 to MDM 7.1.

There are some import maps which assigned to Automatic Inbound ports to import data to the repository using MDIS. Import using these maps was fine before migration. But now there are Structural exceptions on importing data using these maps.

I tried to open the file which is decided to have structural exception with Import Manager. On the Import Status Tab I see action items Ready to import.

I also tried to unmap some field, map it again, save the map and repair repository after that. But there is still structural exception in the port.

Please, advise how to fix this.

Vika

Hello Victoria

I suppose, you changed repository structure when migrated from SAP MDM 5.5 to 7.1

and get error message now because use old map for import data.

You should check that and fixand then save new import map

more about that:

Hello, everybody!

The case wasn't in map. It was in xsd-schema used. Some charsets were reduced in MDM 7.1 and in xsd-schema file the charset was mentioned. So MDM said that the structure was wrong.
