Syndication Error in a Workflow

Hi guys,

we have MDM 7.1 SP3 installation with manual syndication to ports (with active workflows for create/modification/import).

Sometimes we got the followinng error on the step: Syndication in the workflow:

Sometimes the Workflow fails on the syndication step with error: 0x83000106

"Step Description: Syndicate FG Materials

Started: 11/13/2009 16:12:50 GMT

[ <0x83000106 >] 11/13/2009 16:12:58 GMT "

Most of teh time teh syndication works fine but from time to time we got this error and the records stays locked in teh workflow untill somebody re-process it manually.

Could you please tell me what this error means and what should I do in order to avoid it?

Hi ILIN,

we faced the same problem. SAP suggested us to install the updated patch of MDM 7.1, actually the SP10 available on SAP Service, because they have solved several problems on the syndication process, sometimes the syndication process does not starts.

We are testing, till now no problems have been encountered.

HI Vito,

we have upgraded our MDM to the latest patch 12 and this has solved our issue.
