Hi,
My Client wants to upgrade domain controller from win 2003 to win 2008 (32bit)
and also we are renaming the domain name.
Is SAP has any dependency on the Domain Controller of a company?
Does it impacts......
Regards
Suresh
The only relation between SAP and the PDC of your domain in that it holds the accounts if you have a domain install... as long as its fully funtional after the upgrade I can see no issues.

Just to add:
If you rename the domain you have to do a homogeneous system copy:

If you change the domain name for your SAP installations, this will of course effect your SAP installations.
- The accounts (with their settings) have to be migrated to the new domain name.
- The services has to be change accordingly.
- New licensekeys have to be ordered.
etc etc
Hopefully I just misunderstood the sentence above and you are only making an upgrade of the Domain Controller.....

Just as additional note:
If you use SPNego/Kerberos to authenticate (e. g. Portal SingleSignOn) you may need to regenerate the tickets.
