Hello,
Is it possible that anyone can connect from SAPlogon to another port then 3299 of the SAProuter? But the 3299 should still exists for other connections to the SAProuter.
If not, is it possible that the customer can connect to another port, but then a redirect takes place to forward the connection to the 3299 of the SAProuter?
I hope you understand my explanation.
Best regards,
Rainer
As far as I know SAProuter can listen only on one TCP port. By default it is 3299, but you can change this using -S command line option.
Linux can do local port redirection. Using iptables you can redirect all traffic arriving at, for example, 3199 to 3299. Haven't tried it with SAProuter but it should work.
