How to check whether SAP BW Web functionality is enabled or not

Hello everyboy,

How to check whether in an existing BW System WEB functionality is enabled or not .If somebody can give me steps how to check this,it shall be a gr8 help.

Sowmya,

The doc that I sent as link also shows how to check the configurations that were done. You can follow the same procedure to check if your system is configured or not.

Hi Sowmya,

Pls. enter the portal through single sign-on and get in to BW. You should be able to see queries as web reports.

This is one way..

Hello Raj,

This document tells how to configure Web enabling in BW ,iam not asking this,iam asking how to check whether this web functionality is enabled in a BW system or not.I just want to know how to check whether web functionality is enabled or not.

hi Saumya,

following that doc you can check if http services etc running or not, try transaction SICF.

the other simply way i think you can open a web template and try run in web browser, or open a bex query and 'run in web'. or try ping, something (i can't remember the whole path)

http://[your bw server:port]/sap/.../ping
