during the stock posting by using mb1c

Dear all,

During the posting of stock entry by using T.Code MB1C, i am getting an error as

Number range for trans./event type WA in year 2009 does not exist

what configuration is required to resolve this issue.

Hi,

You need to maintain the number range in T.code OMBT.

Click the maintain groups button, then in the next screen select Material documents for goods movements and inventory diffs.

Then click on Maintain button. Then go to menu edit -> insert year. There you can enter the year and number range. Then save this and again try MB1C.

Thanks a lot for the reply, i made the configuration as suggested by you, that issue was resolved but again there is an error as

Posting only possible in periods 1996/07 and 1996/06 in company code 9999, please guide me how to resolve this issue and what configuration is required.

Use transaction MMPV to set the posting period

Dear,

It means MM Period is open for month of Sept and Oct, so u can only select ur posting date within these two month or asked ur MM Consultant to open period for which u want to post document.
