Reverse RG1 update

Hi,

The RG1 is updated with some wrong movements type documents. Now I want to reverse these updation. Please somebody explain me the procedure to reverse RG1 updations.

Any updates please.......

Hi Anupam,

The entries alreday updated in RG1 Register can not be changed.

You need to first correct the wrong entries and than update the RG1 register using those material documents.

In such case RG1 would have two contra entries.

Hi Anupam,

RG1 register is a stock register obviously the inventory related transactions in ECC would be updated in this register in terms of inventory issue & receipts.

The wrong updation could be happen beacuse of any wrong GR or a wrong inventory issue.You would first pass the correction entry of these wrong updations in ECC and than update the resulting material document in RG1.

Hi,

The issue is not with inventory or GR. They are perfectly OK. The issue is there are some movement types like 311 for which we do not update RG1 as production, but by mistake user has update these documents as production quantity. Now it has to be reversed from RG1 register.
