Delivery PGI in previous period

Hi SD Experts,

This is the scenario:

1. Current date 11/13/2009

2. Posted GI on 11/13/2009 by setting the Actual GI date to 10/30/2009(since we wanted the document to be posted in the previous period) - worked fine no problems

3. I had to reverse the GI for some reason, but when I reversed it I did not set the posting date to 10/30/2009 and the actual reversal date was 11/13/2009

4. Now I am not able to PGI the delivery in the previous period(10/30/2009). It says there is a deficit of stock

Deficit of BA Unrestr. prev. 485 LB :<Material><BATCH>

Any Ideas on how to tackle this. Is there anyway I can get this stock in the previous period. We want the PGI to be posted only on 10/30/2009

Hi Sam,

First of all you will have to reverse the document which you have already reversed.

then with T-code it will MMRV it wiill allow you to post transaction.

Then reverse the delivery in the Sep 09 period and the do the correction and do the PGI on Sep.09.

Close the period immediately by T-Code MMPV.
