Hello gurus
My setup in my planning area is FCST Key Figure and Corrected History. I would like to try the Outlier Correction with the Expost Method. SAP Help states that I should not check the Read Corrected History from Planning Version.
Is this correct and why?
Hi Kevin,
You should not check the Read Corrected History from Planning Version.
What is mentioned in SAP help is correct.
If you are using outlier correction with ex post method, the system uses
the expost forecast to determine a tolerance lane. If a historical value lies
outside this tolerance lane, the system views it as an outlier and corrects it.
The historical value in each period you select is changed to the ex-post
forecast. This is in effect a manual outlier correction.
The read corrected history will not have the changed values of outlier
corrections done by system and not to be checked.
