Authorization for the Functional Area in 4.6 C

Hi

We are implementing the cost of sales of accounting. For that we had activated the functional area. We want to restrict the users for certain functional area.

When i checked in the authorization profile, it is not there.

Kindly let me know is it possible to include the functional area in the authorization objects.

May I ask what you were expecting?

My best guess is that these are manual profiles or roles without menus and you can change and activate all you want, you are still in "Do It Yourself" mode => Manually.

Thanks for your message.

When i checked in SU01 & the authorization profile i could not find anything for functional area. I want to check whether SAP standard has the functionality to have authorization object for functional area

Have you checked in SU21?

Please explain what you were expecting to find in SU01?
