Hierarchy for material types does not exist

Hi experts

i'm importing Materials from ECC 6.0 to SRM 7.0 using the guide founded in the sdn blog.

But while i try to import via transaction R3AS the object Material an error occours, that is to say: "Hierarchy for material types does not exist"

"Check whether the ERP system material types have been imported successfully and exist as categories"

I've checked the ERP system material types have been imported successufully as categories. I see them!!! but i cannot continue to import neither material or services.

Is there someone who founded the same issue?

What type of material which is related to material type you are transfering to ECC to SRM.

if you have entry in deltadownload option in one of the CRM tables in ECC, whenever you create a material / change the material it will be avaialble in SRm

you can them in comm_hierarchy or commpr01 transaction ?

i see in comm transaction only the Services imported from ECC 6.0; i cannot see the others raw material and so on. But i see all the category types (services and material).

How many entries are in comm_product table?

check commpr01 for your material ans services?

so you have material groups are existing in comm_category table?

in r3as - what exactly you are doing? what dnl_cust_?

i beleive you require only purchasing view of the material . so what is your filter condtion?

in comm_product i've 100 entries.

Only services, no one material unlukly!!!

in commpr01 just services again

Do you have equivalent materail group in ECC vs SRM

in Comm_category(SRM) = to23 (ECC)
