Configure SSO from SAP Portal to third party software

Hi all,

maybe you can help me with the following issue regarding Single Sign On:

we want to connect the SAP Portal to an external web-based software using Single Sign On.

- What is the best way to do it? Java Ticket Verification?

- what are the external software's requirements to do it?

- what do we need on portal side as well?

- where can I find additional content and documentations for configuration and process description. (http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/DE/f8/9636eedafe8b4589cd6e9e4e73fd3c/frameset.htm is already successfully checked but turned out not to be sufficient)

Hi,

there is a package called "SAPSSOEXT" which helps you to connect 3rd Party systems using Single Sign-On with SAP Logon tickets.

Please check the Help portal at:

The package itself contains also Java / .NET and C++ examples and can be downloaded from the SAP Service Market Place (just search for SAPSSOEXT)
