How to give interactive form in output type

Hi all,

I have to give an interactive form in the output type where some of the fields are editable.

When smartform is migrated to PDF forms, can we make it editable(PDF based forms).

If this not possible what else can be done.

Hello, I am afraid there is not an easy solution for this.

In my opinion you will have to

1) buy a licence for adobe interactive form

2) recreate your smartform as a PDF form

- here you can use existing ABAP coding - fetching data

- use existing interface or create a new one based on the existing quickly

- create BRAND NEW form layout and specify which fields are prepopulated and which are read-only or editable.
