LSMW for WBS elements

Hi All;

I need to load a large number of projects for my client. I have created an LSMW that loads all the Project defenitions and 1st level WBS elements via transaction CJ01 and it worked fine. All that remains is to write another LSMW that creates the remaining WBS elements.

The second LSMW uses transaction CJ02. The LSMW works in a sense in that it creates one WBS on every level but as soon as you change the upload file to create two level 3 WBS elements or two Level 2 WBS elements etc. it requests that all mandotory data be enterd i.e. profit centre, cost centre and controlling area for the second level 2 WBS element or second level 3 WBS element etc.

There is no problem in the ensuring the correct hierarchy is followed, I just want the LSMW to run without manually entering the data.

you can set up the LSMW to have this data to avoid manual entry

i would sugges that you deactivate single root in the project profile

Now run one LSMW to do your projects CJ07 (check this)

then do all wbs via CJ11 (check it)

now activate single root config

then run an LSMW to derive strcuture

When executing CJ02 always enter new WBS at the bottom line on the screen
