Problems with DataSource Web Service BI 7.0

Dear Gurus,

I am trying to activate DataSource Web Service in BI 7.0 and I am experimenting a problem.

Generation of conversion exits and PSA update...

Error generating Web service /BIC/CQNFEODS100001000

Error when activating DataSource NFEODS1 LS_WEB_XML

Any suggestion?

Hi Gilson,

this is too little of information. Please provide more details (e.g. from the application log).

In general, we are not experiencing errors in the Web Service generation.

Dear Andreas,

I am not sure where I am wrong. It should very simple to activate a DataSource in this new version. The worst part: I do need a Web Service once we are trying to connect with XI using it. However, it has been stopped at this point. I might have mistaken when a create Web Service as source system (which Logical System Name, and Type and Release - it brings me Oracle, TLF and XPD as this option). Do I need any Basis setup before once I am dealing with a installation?

Hi Andreas,

By tomorrow I will check if the problem will be solved. The error code (RSDS 301) indicates that I have to apply a Note (913944). I let you know.
