missing entries in TDWOT (text for object links) for some languages

Hi,

I created a document type with an object link to the SAP object QMQMEL (quality notification). Now the text for the object link is missing in some languages (table TDWOT).

Does anyone know where I can get or how I can generate those missing text ?

Hi Iring,

you can maintain description for objects in transaction DC10 under 'Maintain object link descriptions'. Here you can add new entries (description) for different languages.

thanks for the answer.

Do I realy have to maintain this for each language. For all the languages we got new in the last 2 years (chinise, polish ..) all entries are maintained. Only for the "old" languages german, english, french and italian some entries are missing.

I would like to load the default SAP descriptions rather than check for each entrie in sapterm.

Hi Iring,

unfortunately I just know this customizing transaction. But I think you should be able to add the missing entries also in table TDWOT directly by using transaction SE16 or SE16N if this would suit you more.
