MDM Portal Content locks record

HI All,

i faced with the flowing issue - standard MDM portal content (Record Details view) locks record being displayed.

So it means that i can not put on the same page my custom developed WD application in order to display pieces of information from the same MDM record.

Is it possible to switch off locking by mdm portal content??

Please select 'Force Unlock' button to remove locks.

Yes i know about this button.

It will not help. Let me explain in details.

I have page with 3 iViews: Result Set Iview, Product Details Iview + my WD iView

My WD IVIew is created based on my WD application from which i'm trying to read the same product (which is selected in Result Set IVIEW and rendered in Record Details).

In case record is locked by standard mdm portal view from my WD application i con not read it in order to display.

Normally iViews on a page interact with each other ( known as internal eventing). You can restrict such interations using Isolation.

You can achieve isolation by assigning different system alias to each iView , while connecting them to same repository and table(Products).

in this case how can i know that user has selected some record in 'MDM Resul Set' iView?
