Change FM area assignment to company code

Hello,

We have one FM area which assign to several company codes.

There are already actual posting in these company codes.

We would like to separate the company codes into 2 different FM areas.

After creating the new FM area, we wanted to assign some of the company codes to the new FM area.

When trying changing the assignment, we get message FI 636: "You must

not change assignment to company code xxxx".

According to the message, we deactivate Funds Management before carrying out the new assignment, but still got the same message.

How can I change the assignment?

Dear Edit,

You have to check whether the next IMG activities have been performed:

Deactivate Global Funds Management Functions

Deactivate Funds Management

After that, you should be able to do the reassignment.
