surrogate bidding ?

Hi,

I'm trying to use "surrogate bidding", so I activated the option "permit surrogate bidding" for the business partner via Portal, then I logon to srm portal as a purchaser, opened the RFx, I can see the information "response on behalf" is enabe under the Tab "response activity", but the problem is, the button "response on behalf" is gray, so "surrogate bidding" can not be used, do what's the problem?

Kindly please advise.

Select the line which has the bidder with contact details. Then the 'Response on behalf 'button gets activated.

Thanks a lot.

Yes I already tried like this, but the button "Respinse on Behalf" is still gray/unavailable.

By the way, I could find the following information in the page of Tab "Response Activity" as below:

Company name: abcd company

Bidder name: vendor001

Response on behalf: enable.
