Choosing Package

When you are not doing a tutorial and the package is not given, how do you go about choosing a package for a project you are working on?

Normally organizations have their own naming conventions but if you are using it for learning then you can use anything for that matter. But suggested approach is

com.<orgnaization>.<businessunit>.<project>.<module>.

However there is no hard and fast rule that you have to follow the same.

you can define your package as you like, for example:

com.<mycompany>.<myapplicationarea>.<maybe more sections to distinguish...>
