Hi,
I'm learning about MI and started with 7.1.
Can any one explain the purpose of Agent Administration ta under the Administration tab in the Mobile adminstrator?

Also, you can use the agents to store the values of attribute that you maintain on the device.For eg: Suppose you are setting a new landscape and have say 100 devices, now for each of the device you will need to maintain HTTP server etc...you can store this info as an agent and assign that agent to all the devices.

The role administration has a different functionality. once the required roles and the corresponding users from the back-end system are downloaded to DOE , these roles are visible in the role administration. You can perform various activities here like Role-Based Assignment of Mobile Components etc

Hi,
You create an agent if you want to set or obtain values of specific attributes of a client device. For example, you can use an agent to automatically update the date and time of a device based on the time zone of its location.
Agents set or obtain values of specific attributes of a client device through their parameters. You can create new parameters for agents or assign existing parameters to agents.
