How to set up Kanban box status to be Wait when TR was created ?

Hi...

I'm using warehouse management module to manage stock in warehouse. And using Kanban system for transfer material from warehouse to other storage location(SLoc). But when scanning the empty barcord for replenishment from warehouse to other SLoc. And the stock in warehouse is not enough. Transfer requirement will be created in system. And status of Kanban box was changed to empty. But I want the status of box should be changed to "WAIT".

Could you please suggest how to set up ?

Hi JN,

Unfortunately this is not possible in standard SAP. You have to customize your own Status Sequence (IMG->Production->KANBAN->Status) and then you have to define Activities for Status Change in the user-exits. This is the only way to solve this issue.

I would advice not to use the status WAIT but to define your own status i.e. LOWSTCK. All customizing can be found in the IMG node denoted above.
