Hi All

how i can check for a particular Plant or company code whether Document Management system server is maintained or not ,

Right now I have some Equipments for which I need to attach documents through DMS , but couldn't able to get whether particular DMS server is maintained for it or not ,How to check

Hi,

for checking possible storage categories or content repositories in your system you can go to transaction OACT or OAC0 and search for entries of category 'DMS'. This storage categories could be used in DMS transactions to checkin original files.

For customizing content repositories and content server you can also use transaction CSADMIN.

Hi,

As I used this T-code OAC0 , I could see a screen giving list of Content Repository , Document Area , Storage type , version , description , in this i am checking document area DMS , bout not able to understand from it.

I have 6 environment , 3 meant for production & 3 meant for staging , One of the production environment is using DMS system i.e. Equipments & function locations are attaching document by DMS but I want whether for other production environment , DMS is configured or not

In CSADMIN, The first tab called Overview will give you a detailed information regarding with howmany systems the DMS server is configured....
