Hi

I am following the steps which are given in the help.sap.com for DOE inital setup

1. Log on the SAP NetWeaver AS, and start transaction SDOE_SR.

2. If you have installed the SAP NetWeaver AS newly, select DOE Operations ® Initial Setup of DOE and choose Execute Setup.

i have done above two steps.

after executing it.

"configuring default channel for system node" looks in gray color,

and other nodes looking green.

is there any problem? (or) can I proceed further?

can u please help me.

Hi,

Could you please tell us which SP/release of Netweaver Mobile you are using??

Additionally, you can also select the node individually and click on "Execute Step".

Hi,

Go to the Channel Administration screen on the NetWeaver Admin portal and check whether "DEFAULT" channel exists in your system.

If "DEFAULT" channel exists, then you can ignore this "gray" icon in the SDOE_SR transaction and continue with your testing/development.

But if you can not find the entry for "DEFAULT" channel in channel administration screen, you can execute the transaction

"SDOE_SET_DEFAULT_CHN" which will perform the same activity as that of the SDOE_SR step.

Regards,

Ramanath.

Dear Ramnath,

Thank you very much for quick response. Yes, there is a channel with the name Default, as you have specified. The channel type is both and active, it is not registration relavant, no invocation mode, QOS enabled is false, and there is no handler name. So do u think everything is fine and go ahead with our development and testing.
