Hi Friends,
When creating sales order, the delivery date under schedule line shows automatically to the next day to the second line. We used to see only one line with delivery date of today. How to fix it?
Thanks,
Linda
Hello,
To define the delivery date, system takes into consideration the below activties workload time according to system settings in SPRO :
1- Material availibality date
2- Loading date
3- Good issue date
4- finally delivery date.
You can overwrite these data manually by : Double click on the schedule line, choose shipping tab, then enter today date for all activities.

Problem caused by public holiday pre defined in SAP. The issue happens on Veteran's day, which is public holiday, nothing could be confirmed for shipping in sales order on that day.

Hi,
The delivery date will be depends on the following things...
Material Available date, (stock)
Lead time (material master),
picking time (Shipping point)
loading time (shipping point)
and packing time...
I think in your case the Picking and Loading time may be maintained as 1 day (.5 + .5) in shipping point...
IMG --> Enterprise Structure --> Definition -->Logistics Execution --> Define, copy, delete, check shipping point....
Please chek and remove the same and revert back if you face the error again...

Linda,
May be your 1st line in the schedule line data wouldnu2019t have the confirmed quantity and hence the second line with the confirmed quantity.
The one day gap between the first line and the second line could be because as our friend rightly pointed out that the various times involved (loading, transportation planning time etc) in delivering the goods.

Hi
There are two things (that I can think of) which might have caused this issue
1. check in the order type customizing (VOV8) if lead time of 1 day has been given your order type.
2. Secondly, check your factory calendar if the date you have raised the sales order is a weekend or holiday as per the calendar..
Check and let me know
Good Luck
