Copying requirement from delivery to invoice

Hi everyone,

I have a requirement that system should give an error message when we try to combine multiple deliveries into a single invoice if the address/destination country of a SHIP TO PARTY is different.

As far as SAP Standard, invoice gets split incase if destination country of the Ship to party is different .

To give the error message , do we need to write a new Copying Requirement or can use an existing Copying Requirement and add the logic.

In the logic can we use VBPA table to compare the address of the Ship to parties

You can use the existing routine & add the logic into it. to fetch the ship to party address,Yeah you can use VBPA to fetch ship to address-with partner fucntion WE. you will not get address directly from this table.

By using delivery no. & partner functions, fetch the address no. & goto KNA1- enter the address no , execute -

write the logic as said above to fetch the Ship to party address.

NOTE: Ship to party address cab be changed manually in SO. So try to consider these implications & write the logic.

What you have said is right, you need to make a copy of the same routine and modify it to issue error message.
