Hi

we have scenario, pls give me advice. Thanks

have stock qty 100, and create sales order with order qty 150. The stock qty 100 will be reversed for this sales order(make to stock). Additional 50 requirement will be generated. However, this additional 50 qty require is make to order. which mean one item is make to stock (qty 100) and the other item is 50 (make to order). however, we have a lot of item. If we using this method, which mean we have to mulitple the item. any suggestion?

can we use project stock or other method? thanks

hello.

i recommend sticking to the Make-to-Stock scenario. mixing strategies for the same material in the same Plant (much less in the same order) is not really advisable, nor is it practical (or even possible).

when your order quantity of 150 is compared to your available stock of 100, a requirement of 50 is already transferred to MM/PP as you noted. the requirement can already be traced to the sales order. so i believe there really is no need to mix Make-to-Order in the equation.

regards.
