Weird: can't find where the custom fields in 0FI_GL_4 are populated!

Our previous consultants added quite a few custom fields into the standard datasource 0FI_GL_4. However, we go to R3 CMOD/enhancement code for exit functions: EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001 and EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002 (only these two exit functions are activated and used in our applications), can't find these fields.

You know the standard datasource 0FI_GL_4 uses a standard extraction function called BWFID_GET_FIGL_ITEM to populate fields other than from any table. We wonder there is somewhere in the standard function that the previous consultants added codes in it to populate these custom fields?

Help!

If the field were added in append structure of datasource and exist in bkpf or bseg table with same name, the standard datosource will fill them automatically (thats why you don't find anything in cmod).

hi Paolo,

I have marked this question as non-question since I have figured this out.

Thanks anyway!

Other people, please don't answer anymore.

Kevin, it would be interesting to learn more about this. How did these fields get populated? Can you explain what you found out?
