Not able to open message mapping in edit mode

Hi all,

I wanted to change my message mapping in the middle of my project. But when i try to open my message mapping in edit mode (that is, when i click on the pencil mark), it is not taking in to edit mode. Instead, it is saying that I am only editing it currently. This is bringing all my work to a standstill. Can anybody suggest something which will release this?

Hi,

1) First try to activate existing one

2) Try to change the change list to other user and activate it

3) Go to Administration from the XI homepage and check for the Any locks against your user Id . if so unlock it.

as Moorthy says the issue is probably with the lock:

go to this page and remove the lock

http://server:port/rep/support/public/LockAdminService

I've tried to remove the locks in the Lock Overview. I removed the locks but when I click on the Edit button on my Message Mapping the lock returns. Would it be a permissions issue?
